Household Uses for Essential Oils

Air Freshener Spray
Add a few drops of essential oil to water in a spray bottle for a nice air freshener spray.

Fridge Cleaner/freshener
Add 10 drops of citrus essential oil (orange, for example) to a gallon of water.

Smokey Room Freshener
Lemon or citrus essential oil on a cotton ball

Lemon Floor Shine
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
3 Tablespoons finely grated Lemon Peel
1/2 Teaspoons Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Add to water and mop as usual

Fresh Potholders
Sew herbs into potholder. When they warm up, they will release the scent of the herbs.

Vacuum Room Freshener
Add a few drops of essential oil to a cotton ball and place in your vacuum bag. When you vacuum, it will disperse the scent into the room.
